If your ceiling height is between 2.4m to 2.8m, your ceiling fan's included downrod should be sufficient. To make sure the minimum 2.1m distance from the floor to the fan blades is achieved, please check the data sheet (located under Installation). For ceilings higher than 2.9m, adding a 90cm downrod is recommended. This downrod can be cut to your desired length (between 240cm and 270cm from the floor). If your ceiling is very high (3.9m or above), a 180cm downrod may be needed and can be cut to the same desired length. Adding an extra downrod may help improve the fan's performance by bringing it closer to the floor.
